By now students should be quite familiar with The Weather Song. This song reviews all of the concepts learned up until this point. The students should understand the meaning of every line and be able to sing along with it clearly and easily.

The 5 Components

1. Song – Play The Weather Song Video File or Audio File.

2. Interactive Video / Audio File– There is no Interactive Video / Audio File for this section.

3. Textbook Activities – Play the Audio File for this song and have students sing along with it and point at the pictures in the textbook.

4. Classroom Activities – Have students make their own Weather Song. Divide them into groups. Each group draws 7 pictures – one for each day of the week. They can choose any kind of weather they want for each picture. For example in Monday’s picture it’s snowy and in Tuesday’s picture it’s rainy.

Then they can present their song to the class by holding up their pictures and singing their own version of the song to everyone!
