Beavers Helping People

On October 16th 2011 “A Small Step” travelled to Nepal.
It was a “Humanitarian Adventure”

We provided Free Healthcare and Teaching Resources for the local Nepalese people we met along our 3 week journey into the countryside at the foot of the Himalayas.

In the village of Charikot, 6 hours from Kathmandu, Dr. Tod Pelly and Dr. Heather Glascock set up a Free Clinic to provide free healthcare to people who need it but couldn't afford it.

Dave Martin, the creator of Busy Beavers visited local schools in the area and meet with teachers and children. He helped them build an effective English Teaching Curriculum and donated Laptop Computers loaded with English Learning Videos, Flash Cards and Worksheets.
